Sex Diaries slideshow
Sex Diaries is presented here as a slideshow bringing together images from the ongoing work and the first book dummy. Combining self-portraits, still lifes, and fragments of domestic spaces, the sequence moves through intimacy as something unstable, fragmented, and continuously reinterpreted through memory.
The work is less concerned with documenting events than with observing what remains after they pass: emotionally charged objects, gestures, textures, and spaces that continue to exist long after the moment itself has disappeared. Through repetition, the images return to the same bodies and interiors, gradually shifting meaning each time they reappear.
Accompanied by a spoken text, the slideshow reflects on the relationship between photography and memory, exploring how certain details become disproportionate through emotional attachment. Beds, curtains, bathrooms, and surfaces cease to function simply as objects, becoming instead containers of experience and traces of intimacy.
The openness of the sequence allows associations to remain unresolved, leaving space for viewers to project their own memories and emotional interpretations into the work.
Presented at Magazzini Fotografici, Naples, from 3 June to 10 July 2026.
