The film explores the in-between moments in life—what remains unspoken, what’s hidden beneath the surface while we fixate on the grandeur of life-altering events. Whether it’s the process of healing from trauma or experiencing a personal breakthrough, what’s often highlighted is the final result—the ending—something appealing, digestible, and easy to understand.
But in reality, meaning is often born in the mess: in confusion, in uncertainty, in the moments that feel unresolved. It’s within those cluttered, disjointed instants that both beauty and pain take form. There was no better way to visually communicate such an abstract, gray area that everyone inhabits than through ballet—an irreversibly beautiful practice that, at first glance, appears soft, delicate, and effortless through the movements of the dancer. What often goes unnoticed is the endless repetition, discipline, and energy required to make dance seem so natural, so simple.
Together with Camilla, and through countless conversations and careful planning, what began as an idea suspended in the air slowly took shape—becoming something real, something true. In many ways, this marks an ending, but also a beginning. And for that, I owe her my so much love in making everything come together.
